Workshop - Meditation and Philosophy
The path of Equanimity through Awareness
ONLINE

January 22 | February 05 | February 16
Saturdays
09h30 - 11h00

Vipassana meditation transmits the teachings of the Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama), carefully preserved over all these centuries. These teachings are practiced to this day to help us live in the here and now.

Anicca, Dukkha, and Anattã are the three basic characteristics of our surroundings according to the Buddha's teachings.

If we recognize Anicca (impermanence) we will understand the root of Dukkha (suffering) and thus access the discovery of Anattã (ultimate truth), but it will take continuous dedication and time to be understood simultaneously.

Impermanence (Anicca) will be the essential factor that has to be experienced and understood in practice. Mere intellectual knowledge will not suffice for the correct understanding of Anicca; this understanding will arise through experiencing the nature of Anicca as a process of constant mutation of each one.

The main goal of Vipassana meditation is to activate the Anicca experience within us and in time understand our true nature and rest in a state of continuous calm and balance.

We will access the possibility to balance and strengthening our physical and mental health through full attention.

OSSEUS - Health impacts

Continuous attention through awareness of the body deeply nourishes the mind.

The act of being present to everything that happens allows the student to gradually cultivate greater insight into the actions we take and their impact.

Cultivating mindfulness has a great impact on our health, allowing for a reduction in symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress, which in turn calms the mind through greater understanding, balance, and organization, expanding from the inside out into everything around us.

The possibility of transformation only occurs when we are deeply present in the moment.
