2022 ACTIVITIES

 

The Path of Mindfulness 
Yoga Retreat - Pranayama - Meditation

Karuna Center, Algarve, Portugal

We are very happy to meet again in a space of tranquility, awareness and silence, which will allow us to get in touch with ourselves.

 

Close to nature, we will immerse ourselves in postures (Asanas), breathing exercises (Pranayama), and meditation (Vipassana) for one week. 


This retreat is an opportunity to connect with our nature, to deepen our practice with the Osseus approach. We will dive into the practice of Yoga and Vipassana Meditation, which gives us the possibility to discover what is truly essential for each of us. 

Yoga and Meditation opens the way for us to have an attitude towards life based on an active awareness of the intrinsic nature of the interrelationship of all the elements of life.

 We will address the three fundamental principles of the practice:

Principle of Reality (perception), Principle of Change (Anicca - impermanence) and Principle of Causality (actions in the way of their Impacts).

Who is it aimed to:

This retreat is aimed at all people who wish to deepen their yoga and meditation practice. 
A retreat of one week of progressive practice, seven days of immersion to study together.

During the first three days, we will begin in the morning with Ashtanga Yoga practice, which will be aimed at students with different levels of experience of the practice. In the afternoon we will deepen the basic principles of the Osseus method.

In the second part of the retreat we will deepen our self-practice, Ashtanga Mysore, and we will dive into the practice of Vipassana Meditation.

The retreat will be given, depending on the nationality of the students, in Portuguese and English. 

 

This experience is organized to be lived during 7 days with the possibility of being adapted to the availability and the specific conditions of each student.
